Big update: better, easier editing options.

We’ve been shipping fast. In case you blinked, here's what changed in Mochine over the past few weeks.

Edit right in the preview

The separate style and format mode is gone. Editing now lives inside the video preview itself.

• Settings, on screen. A toolbar in the preview handles aspect ratio, layout, and captions. Right-click anything on screen to check out all its options.
• Click to edit text. Click any on-screen text, captions included, and change it in place. No prompt needed. Just FYI, caption edits only change what you see in your video. Your original transcript and any AI voiceover stay the same.
• Captions that clear the UI. On 9:16 videos, captions now sit above the area TikTok, Reels, and Shorts cover.

A real timeline

• This is a big one. A timeline and playback controls now run in a full-width strip under the preview.
• Drag the handles to trim clips and slides, with snapping, zoom, and waveforms.
• Motion graphics show up as “chips” above your clips. A stepper jumps you from one to the next.

Motion Kits, front and center

• Pick a look up front. Choose a Motion Kit, or start a custom one, right from the new-video screen. There’s a kit picker in the chat composer too.
• Swap kits anytime. Open Motion Kit settings on any video. Each preview shows your video in that kit, one graphic at a time. Mochine can also drop the settings button right into the chat.
• Smarter built-ins. Our “Standard” kit now picks up your brand colors by default, and every built-in Motion Kit has a live preview.
• A guide for custom Motion Kits. A custom Motion Kit now starts with a short brief. Pull your brand from your website, one of your brand kits, or a description. Choose or upload a logo, and bring your own font.
